Programs & FundingThere is a wide range of programs, grants and funding opportunities for sustainability in schools including:


Victorian Government

Sustainability Victoria runs a number of school programs and provides funding through various grants, rebates & programs. The Schools Water Efficiency Program (SWEP) is available to all schools connected to a mains water supply. Click here for more details.

Commonwealth Government

The Australian Government has established the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative. Schools are also eligible for the Australian Government's Community Water Grants. Click here for further details.

Local Government

Schools may form partnerships with local councils on projects. Click here for more details.

Non-Government Organisations

The Victorian Sustainable Schools program is a joint initiative of the Gould League and CERES Community Environment Park. Other programs include Schools For a Sustainable Future. Click here for more details.
