Victorian Sustainable Schools Program
The Victorian Sustainable Schools program is an initiative of CERES Community Environment Park and the Gould League. It’s mission is to establish a national network of sustainable schools as demonstration centres of green technologies and design, modelled sustainable behaviour and linked to sustainable curricula, so that people in all local communities will be motivated to live more sustainably. It provides an holistic education program on sustainability for schools, building on the expertise of the many different groups already working in this field. It is one of the new generation of environmental programs that takes schools beyond mere awareness raising to action and, in many cases, environmental leadership. The focus of the program is on quadruple bottom line outcomes – educational, environmental, social and economic.

Gould Group Schools Programs
Gould Group designs innovative environmental education and training in sustainability. They work with partners to support sustainable lifestyles and protect the environment. They have delivered educational programs annually to over 1,200 schools, 300 teachers and 60,000 students throughout Victoria. They aim to extend their programs to secondary as well as primary schools and to work with schools across Australia, connecting communities of schools who care about a sustainable environment. The Gould Group is extending its focus on a range of whole school sustainability programs. They actively seek funding support to bring these programs to as many schools as possible, and advertise for schools to apply when funding is available.
Schools For a Sustainable Future
Schools for a Sustainable Future (SFSF) is a strategy designed to unite various sectors of local communities under a common "umbrella" to achieve this goal. Their vision is to bring together schools, local business and the community, to promote and implement programs that preserve resources and environment for our children's future.
Clean Up Australia – Millennium Kids
Millennium Kids is a unique organisation that is run by kids, for kids, aged 10-25 years and aims to encourage young people to be environmental leaders by being active and aware in their environment. The Millennium Kids agenda is supported by the United Nations Agenda 21, Chapter 25, which states each country should have a process where kids have a say about the state of the environment and how it should be managed for future generations.
